Hornets are working out Donald Sloan and Norris Cole. There is speculation they will waive Briant Weber. I think Weber would be a great pick up if he becomes available.

The answer to your question for the present is: NO.

Irving is one of the league's worst defenders, ranking 73rd among 84 point guards in defensive real plus-minus. Irving had a harrowing defensive rating (112.7), and the only players further down the list for the Cavaliers were Richard Jefferson (113.3) and Deron Williams (114.0).

And yes, let's please bring in a washed up, no-D point to mentor our new French Clyde.

Maybe we can then look into getting DLee to show Willy how to get out of frame on poster dunks?
