Since it seems he's the main ingredient in almost every thread here right now, what's your opinion of Melo as a Knick?
He's a disgusting cancer and the worst thing that's ever happened
I don't hate him as a person, i just hate his game and everything about it
I really don't care, i just want him to leave

I really can't even fathom still being this emotionally charged about Jeremy Lin. That was freakin years ago and this guy brings up Jeremy Lin when I see NO ONE even remotely referencing him.

He did that to me too. I don't understand his apathy for a player who is no longer part of the Knicks.

Are you this completely blind? There are literally dozens of threads on here, discussing Melo, and at least 5 posts per thread mention circlejerking over what was Lin. TripleThreat alone mentions Lin at least 5 times a week.

I'm surprised no one has brought this up really. It wasn't that long ago half the members on this site were riding Morey's jock and claiming how an NBA executive of his superior basketball mind will ever find any use for a player like Melo.


The only difference is that 99% of J-Rod's posts are about Melo and like 0.0001% of mine are about Morey.
I do think a smart analytics person would recognize that Melo can be a good third option though. So I don't even know what your point is.

Oh my, I think we might be overestimating there a bit, oh Master of the Slide Rule.

At least 5% of my posts are about Lin. And I have at least 0.75% of total posts each for DLee, Spree and Chris Dudley.

I always love the brilliance of people promoting endlessly the "proper" way of losing. Knick fandom at it's best.
Like coaches and players are going to purposely plan to miss shots or not play defense.

Plus, with how much you talk endlessly about how he suhucks defensively AND offensively, how is not tanking properly on Melo? Wouldn't a team full of Melo's gotten you your #1 superstar pick?

You can't just look at Melo's PPG and say well 24 on the Knicks, if he were a 3rd option he could at least score 20 on good efficiency.

Doesn't work like that.

Their skill sets have to mix and match and it's really hard to mix and match when you don't emphasize defense, aren't interested in ball movement and your efficiency is slipping.

Once again hate is not the word to describe my feeling about Melo. I don't hate the man. I always say he might be a great guy to hang out with I'm not a fan of his game its detrimental to team basketball. It's one of your poll choices.

He is obsessed with Lin, he maybe getting closer to the point of time when he comes out of the closet and admits he is Chinese. We need to support him in this time of need. Poor insecure person with inadequate social skills is trying to put up a tough front. Help a brother out.
