Good points. I think KP would welcome someone as competitive as Smart. Don't believe Smart has gone into Rondo territory when it comes to dust ups, but you're right its a risk. If the price is right the Knicks should take that risk IMO.

how are we getting smart? the C's would just cut him? would have to be a trade, no? in which case what do we have to offer? and i doubt c's wanna deal him in division.

I believe the Celts need to trade someone out and not take someone back (or lesser salary).

Marcus Smart is mediocre and probably won't be much better than he is now. That said, he's way better than what we got when you consider our younger guys
if we could get smart and flip Lee, yeah, I'd be interested
