Baker is so great that the Knicks drafted a PG and are looking for another in free agency.

Baker is not a point guard though he can play pg and will for us, because of his amazing basketball IQ. he is best suited at the 2 when we get rid of lee.

In terms of players in free agency Mills is just feeding the media what they want to hear, while doing nothing . He doesn't want the media to attack him for saying frank is our starter. He'd rather say oh we're trying but we aren't breaking our salary bank for guys like George hill or Justin holiday.

What dose holiday bring that baker doesn't, that is a simple answer nothing. Also I think we are fine with what we have .

Frank,baker
Lee,Dotson
Lance,kuz
Willy,Oquin
KP,Noah

Top three pick like doncic to take over the two spot.

There is nothing wrong with that rotation, to get top tier talent in the draft. Also once Hayward goes back to Utah or the heat. Boston is going to be calling about melo and now that PG13 is in Oklahoma, Cleveland is going to be calling for melo as well.

Who cares about b rated talent that might sneak us into the 7 th or 8 th spot in the playoffs . Let's suck for doncic

A core of KP,Willy, doncic, frank is way better then a Willy,KP,Frank, George hill, and a mid first rounder

Look at the bigger picture like Cleveland, warriors, spurs you have to build through young talent and draft picks

Baker is definitely a young talent you hold on to for your bench.

I forgot to mention Jose Calderon is actually a result of first mistake. He was all fine to be a backup PG but the problem is that we didn't have the starting one. Why we didn't? Because we didn't trade away picks.

For the reasons we all know too well, Knicks picks are very valuable among NBA GM. They all know it must be very good pick and I am very positive that we could have an average starting PG at the wrong side of 30 at the cost of a first round pick.

But Phil didn't want to, then he got fired because of his 80-166 but he gave us a better future.

And KP, I hope he comes back and apologizes. I doubt it would happen but I hope he is good enough to understand that he was wrong. No matter how bad the management was, as a player you should not undermine your FO because it would make their job harder and thus it would make your life harder.

Now, who would want to sign here to help him? At the end, he will regret it.

As I said Knicks fan secretly believe in different brand of basketball. We prefer talent over teamwork. We worship superstars but look down role players..... Sometimes we just don't need to look very hard to find them.

True, you would think 15 years of mediocrity the fan base would realize what we've been doing isn't working. No more bandaids let's build a winning culture from within then the top tier vets will come via free agency.

KP is going to be a unstoppable superstar pair that with the talent that is Willy, frank, and our top3 pick in next years draft! With hard working yoots like baker,Dotson,Oquin on the bench. Vets will be knocking on the door to play with KP and company.

If we sign George hill and keep melo what will that do get us in the playoffs as a 6,7th, or 8th
Seed. And another 10 years of mediocre teams. No more man this ship has sailed 10 years ago. It's time to build the team the right way, through the draft !
