I'd give George Hill 3 years at $19 million per. He's just what we need to compete now and also to mentor Frank the right way. Very underrated.

Joe Ingles is going back to the Jazz. Gordon Hayward is his best friend and will probably follow. Too bad, Mr. Ainge!

My beloved PJ Tucker has signed with the Rockets for 4 years /$32 million. The rich keep getting richer.

Pj Tucker is the older version of TJ Warren. I like Warren better.

I'm reading that Phoenix is offering RFA Alan Williams 4 years at around $20 million. We can beat that, can't we?

Am also hearing that we have some interest in Shelvin Mack at PG. Rondo also.

I hadn't heard the Mack rumor. Berman just tweeted stuff about Justin Holiday having interest from multiple teams.

With the Rockets acquiring PJ Tucker it seems more possible that we could get Ariza and maybe Gordon in a trade for Melo.

Sorry it's come down to Detroit, Gallo!

That's a bad contract and left me a bit optimistic that we could unload Joakim Noah unto them. Stan Van Gunday has the Otis Smith-itis back during his Magic days and doesn't seem to understand concepts like market value and cap management. They consistently overpay players not only in money but in years, so what's one more scrap to the bonfire?

I don't understans your mentality. Yes, Hill is a talented player but why are you trying to win ball games this upcoming season? We need to tank! And besides, with Hill's injury history, I want no part of him. I feel like he'll spend half the damn season injuried and the remaining half, giving us a great record. And then with the saturation of great PG's in the league, I think his contract will end up being very difficult to move. This draft alone just produced at least 4 guys that will be starters amongst the 30 teams! So, say "no" to George Hill.

The two are nothing alike. Tucker is a defensive stalwart (or at least thought of as one) that has no offensive game to speak of. Warren has traditionally been a defensive sieve but a very talented offensive player.

Ariza is best friend's with Chris Paul and played an integral role in recruiting him to HOU. It's highly unlikely he gets moved before the two see court time with one another. And to be frank, I'd prefer to waive Melo than take back Gordon and Ariza. I think those two revert to malcontents and bad contracts without a star or that system to play in.

I am not a tanker. Tanking is for losers and for cheaters. I'd rather go with a two track approach where we have a good core of veterans and another core of good young players and build a winning attitude. Losing begets losers. And George Hill would help us immediately as well as long term with his influence on young Frank.

And your strategy begets our star leaving when he is an unrestricted free agent or an impending one. Have Dwight Howard leaving ORL, LeBron leaving CLE, Paul George leaving IND, Kevin Love leading MIN, and Anthony Davis soon-to-be-leaving NOP taught you nothing? Had those teams had a bonafide 2nd star that was drafted by the team, those guys would've felt confident of their ability to win with those franchises. Unfortunately, their franchises instead opted to sell game tickets and merchandise sooner by selling off picks and signing pricey veterans that barely moved the needle, which only ended up squandering generational talents. We don't want to be those guys; let's draft a 2nd star player.
