with Frankie french looking kind of shaky, it's a safe bet to have a real starter, I seriously doubt this kid plays a lot of minutes.

Teague, hill, and rose are probably the most realistic

If you need a vet, give Collison a 1 year deal. The idea is to give the young players as much time as possible so they can better as soon as possible.

A deal for Rubio would be the best. I am for Lee for Rubio.

A better overpay is for George Young who is a pretty good 2-way player. At least over Rose and Teague. However I totally agree with Mills. He's the defensive team first guy we really need as part of a culture change. I would much rather overpay for Mills (say 3/$45mm) than Teague or Rose, both of whom are prob in the $20-$25mm range.

Agree with this line of thinking. We need to give minutes to Frank, not start the season assuming he can't play, which is typical Kincks approach

Did he mean George Hill?

I thinks it more about not putting too much pressure on an 18 year old playing the toughest position on the court and providing a cushion for him to learn at his own pace. At this point Rubio would be perfect. Gives Frank two years to learn the position. If he's the man you turned it over to him. If not you didn't go all in on him and you look elsewhere or possibly resign Rubio.

What do you mean The knicks can simply S&T rose. How could they turn down that?

Makes a lot of sense- Lowry added to that twolves roster should be pretty good.

Adding Butler and Lowry in the same offseason is impressive if they can pull it off.

Rubio to Utah for their 2018 first rounder. Twolves now have pretty much max space and must have a signing ready to pull the trigger (hill, Teague or Lowry)

Teague, Rubio, definitely not Rose. Not unless you want to see another season or Rose forgetting that he is a PG. 4 APG from the starting PG?

It's being reported that we have no interest in bringing Rose back. I'm hoping it's Milos Teodosic that we sign.
Collison wouldn't be bad either.

From the Daily News....

source downplayed the reported Knicks interest in Indiana guard Jeff Teague.

If its not Rubio, or Teague, Id rather the Knicks wait for the new GM to make the call.

If Minny wants Teague then who will sign Lowry? I wouldn't mind doing that either.

Good question. I get the feeling they want Lowry first, Teague second. Lowry is no scrub but seeing how he had trouble at times handling the pressure in Canada, makes you wonder how we would handle NYC and the NY media? Wouldn't be mad if Lowry was signed, but I hope the Knicks explore other options first. Probably couldnt afford him anyway.

What is the pressure? As long as we are not stupid enough to try to "Win now", they should get reps against quality opponents and learn the right way to play the game. I don't care if we win 17 games, in fact that maybe the best thing we can do long term. Then we will have a really good pick next year.

You think being thrown to the wolves and left out there if you're not ready is a good thing? Especially at age 18-19? We need to have the option of letting him learn at his pace and play him when he's ready, not because we have no other options.

What about taking a shot at Tyreke Evans on a reasonable contract?
