"Hybrid Triangle" is that like "New and Improved Triangle"? I want to see more P&R, especially with KP. Would also like to see the Knicks push the tempo more than I want to see them desperately trying to form a Triangle.

Knicks ranked near the bottom in fast break points, ranked low on efficiency as well. Letting players go to more familiar, yet still effective plays, like the P&R, will help make the team more efficient and increase their comfort level with the offense.

You can argue they do all these things in the Hybrid system, but they didn't do it nearly enough last season.

The Euro looks good too--but not in the same category because of his shot. I really think however that we may have the Euro Jeremy Lin here--maybe not as smart as JL--but same explosion and guts. Id like to see him poff the bench and then maybe start 1 game where he gets 30+ minutes

Im less enthusiastic about the bigs--Im not sure either are NBA players. Theyll have experience--but lets bring in Christian Wood:) Hes actually younger than both of these guys.

Dotson seemingly decided to work on his game leading up to the draft, and made a concerted effort to show he could pass the ball, but at the very least we have a guy able to knock down Js and compete on the defensive end.

OJ, the Serbian kid, is a wildcard. We are either going to fall in love with him in SL or be frustrated with an out of control game and poor shooting.

Kornet needs to work out and improve his body, and Hayes needs to dedicate himself to the sport.

This should be a good group to observe and analyze in SL.

I like the Kornet/Hayes signings a lot, though I would have liked it if we had picked up a UFA small forward, though I can't say I know much about who was available. Maybe someone is added later.

Frank makes the draft, even though we are going to have to watch monk score a lot and just take it. It will be fine as long as frank shows grit and D and the occasional shot. Dotson can shoot and we just have to wait and see if he has anything else. The serbian OJ was hard to watch, maybe it was those uniforms. He's unorthodox and in need of coaching but seems tough. Like lenny dykstra in high tops.

The summer league signings are well thought out, smart, mature system guys who have a chance to help the bench. Nigel was only going to make the league through ny, as his game fits what we are trying to do on offense. Personality for days as well and he will thrive in the spotlight. If gets his body right, and a real shot doctor, we may have something.

And frank is like me.....high IQ baller.....at 18 yrs old. LeBron had similar high IQ at this age......but when u mix in natural physical gifts like instincts and length.....and willingness to learn.....and unselfish. you have a star. Phil didn't pass on ball or Josh jackson.....he passed on players with high bust potential......for a player with low bust potential. and be said it was difficult. I knew monk would be available.....and I wanted him. but I only saw highlights. Monk is streaky like JR smith....and plays the point like JR smith.....plays defense less than JR smith.....and 3-4 inches shorter than JR Smith.
