I don't have any excuse for not giving a ****.
What's your excuse for loving this drama so much?
its almost as warm as a good hug
That said, it's curious in a forum in which people become passionately convinced what college freshman will have the best NBA career based on YT videos, an argument is being advanced that its useful for the guy with the #2 pick to be at the combine for days.
Its even more curious that you seem to be ok with this style of mgmt. considering Phil's record.
When did I say I was?
When you say that sleeping though a workout is no big deal, that isn't what I would call criticism of his mgmt style.
Phi Jackson's performance as the Knicks president is a complicated, nuance issued. To glom on a twice removed report of a guy maybe nods off/maybe closes while a guy is maybe doing drills is just desperation that distracts from more important, more legitimate, more relevant questions.
Yes, maybe nodding off during a workout of an undisclosed player isn't a big deal.
That you immediately equated that to a wholesale endorsement of Jackson's tenure speaks for itself.
Not nearly as complicated as you make it out to be.
I didn't make it out at all.
The team has no playoff appearances, no playoff victories. The team has a even worse record since Phil took over, with no end in sight. Sleeping during a player's workout intentionally or not is a sign of disrespect, and a sign that Phil would be better off retiring. Knicks already have an abysmal reputation, this doesn't help. Neither does possibly trading KP.
"Possibly" has no meaning.
And again, your own words illustrate it's the drama you're attracted to.
You describe a situation as "abysmal" yet somehow think this possibility of it occurring matters.
So 'very slightly less abysmal' is what you're hoping for here? :-)
Talk about unnecessary drama. So is it or isnt it complicated?
Of course is it. WHY it isn't working is very complicated.
Phil Jackson's performance as the Knicks president is a complicated, nuance issued.
The situation is abysmal because of Phil Jackson and Phil Jackson alone. Trading Porzingis wont help.
Okay. He hasn't been traded.
Nor is there a condition of any trade on the table.
I LOVE Porzingis, but I could be swayed depending on the return.
To suggest NO return could help seems ignorant, by literal definition.
Will you please cut this BS about not expressing your opinion until its official. Its a moronic thing to say in a sports forum. Thats what posters spend the most time doing here, talking about things that havent happened yet, could happen, and might not happen. This place would be dead if we Didn't.
But that's my whole point.
You're getting upset about scenarios you're making up ... why?
Because you want to have something to talk and be upset about.
So we agree. People are manufacturing drama because they like that as much if not more than actual basketball.
Im upset with the state of the team, its cumulative.
A lot of drama from you about my expressing my opinion like everyone else here on this board about the future, and how we want, or dont want things to turn out.
I will of course not read a single comment from you about any article, rumour, story, until its in the past, and has been confirmed by multiple sources. You also of course wont be sharing your opinion about a player you want or dont want drafted, why should you? They havent been drafted yet, and you arent doing the drafting.
I can play this game too, but its boring and Im done with your drama over my opinions.
