If you're doing any trade with Boston for KP it has to include this years draft pick (#3) next years 1st round pick and next years 1st draft pick originally owned by the lakers. PLUS Jalen Brown

You said the same thing about Frank Kaminsky.

Even if we definitely wanted to trade KP and even if we were enamored with Josh Jackson this would still be selling insanely low. He's young, has a ton of potential, he could be the perfect 5 in today's NBA, and he's under team control for at least another 3 years.

to be fair it sounds like the suns contacted the knicks. Nothing wrong to listening to offers doesnt mean he is trying to trade him

Cause it seems to me it's KP who is the one holding up things. He skipped exit meeting. Played around in NY when Knicks still wanted to meet. Does not return text messages from team. Is off working out.

I LOVE Josh Jackson and would agree he is the (1) pick in this draft that I would require as part of a KP package but and a BIG but we need way more from Celtics.

Deal would have to at least include #3 (Josh Jackson), J-Brown and better of 2018 Net/Laker pick plus I'll add in Rozier from Celtics.

Celtics get KP and can potentially add G-Heyward or another piece this summer and they keep the rest of their vet core in tact - plus leaves them with either Net/Laker pick next year.

If we move KP it has to be for 3 legit assets at a minimum and you squeeze whatever else you can.

I'm not saying what's a fair or unfair deal... I like Porzingis and hope he stays... but, you have to have respect, a standard of expectations and consistent discipline to run an effective organization. The Spurs have it! And coincidentally you don't see many Spurs blowing off meetings or behaving disrespectfully to the coach, GM or organization. I think Stephen Jackson was the last "trouble maker" I recall doing that - and he only lasted a season or two there. So anybody who blows off the meetings needs to be held accountable in some form. Rose blowing off the team and going AWOL was a good example of how our organization doesn't value this concept - since they may still resign him. I don't think Phil wants to trade KP, but it's ok to listen to offers as nobody should be untouchable, least not a young player that just blew off a meeting and hasn't reached out to be responsible or apologetic with the team. Letting him come back and sweeping this under the rug would be the worst outcome in my opinion...

You think either the Bulls or Pacers (if George wasn't already leaving) would take JUST the #3 for Butler/George? Answer is no - it would require multiple picks and potentially multiple players.

Has anyone from the Knicks actually tried to call KP? We know they spoke to his brother. Phil has no problem dissing his players in public, has he publicly said that he wants to talk to KP?

They told KP he was the future, then went out and got a PG who largely ignored him. I think the kid just wants to know that there is a plan (a good plan) and he is part of it. How many core players does Phil have to get into a beef with before its considered a problem?

NO! Indy would move at light speed to agree to that trade. PG just told them he's leaving when he becomes a free agent. Replacing a disgruntled 2nd banana with a potential superstar still on his rookie deal would be a total coup for them.

Yep. Even if you love Jackson completely this trade is absolutely selling low. Boston, to even get a conversation started. needs to put this year's pick and either next year's Brooklyn or LA pick on the table at a minimum.
