We know defensively he's gonna be really good though.

I've actually watched full games of Nitty. He's clearly a good Prospect but I think there are more questions about him than many of the other top Prospects that actually had an opportunity to show more.

From what I saw Nitty looks good but not Elite. Solid skills. Good BBall instincts but still raw in a lot of areas, which is to be expected. He looks like he's more of a fill in guy rather than a take charge type. That could change as he develops but then I go back to his overall quickness and burst being only OK.

Also his coaches want Nitty to be more aggressive. He tends to lose that aggressiveness. I think he's more comfortable fitting in. This could be his youth messing with his confidence. I don't have these concerns with kids like Monk or DSJ.

I've said no regarding Frank N for Awhile yet if they can swap w Detroit for # 12 then Frank is my guy and Isaac or Tatum at 8!!

I really like frank at 8 no way he gets past Mavs at 9 .... Tatum is a no, he's a less talented melo he really reminds me of micheal Beasley with out the three point shot ...I think Tatum slips outta the lottery .... now if Isaac slips I take Isaac over everyone. And trade to get kennard at 12 .

Agree. I don't know how anyone can say a 6'2" shooting guard is a sure thing. Let's say his scoring carries over, his lack of playmaking and defense limits how you can use him. Too many questions for a sure fire star. Smith has talent, but the intangibles. He's one guy I'd like to see play en extra year, but can't blame him for leaving. Forget about the triangle, I worry about DSJs fit in any winning team dynamic. I think Zach Collins is the closest thing to a surefire NBA starter in our range and he has a lot of questions as well.

well if you ask Nix, Monk is already a star defender in the NBA and playmaker.

Any consider to think the reason Frank dropped is because his team is the in finals and he hasnt been able to give individual workouts? He may lose a few spots because of that and I think that is what draft express is showing here.

there is so much misdirection and smoke blown at this point. You just gotta take it all with a grain of salt. Frank plays today. Watch he drops 20 and his usual lock down and suddenly he's top 6.

It doesnt matter... at this point you cant believe what you read. You just do your DD and pick the best guy you can. I like that the Knicks are looking at guys in all ranges. They have drafted well and I have even thought the guys that didnt work out like Grant or Early were effectively "good tries."

I imagine they have a few other deals sort of queued based on who they grab at 8. At this point just sit back and enjoy the show

Smith's previous ACL injusry is worrisome. We just had Rose and his knee issues.

Why?

No 2 injuries or people are the same. Most all guys roll their ankles in the NBA but are they all Deron Williams?

TONS of guys in the NBA have had ACL replacement, not all are Rose.

At one point GS was weary of Curry and his ankles, almost traded or hesitated resigning him.

Didn't believe I would change my mind with the circus that surrounds him, but if anyone in this draft can help take KP's game to the next level it would be Ball. Still wouldnt draft him with a top 3 pick, but at 8, he would be worth the risk IMO. I get the feeling if the Lakers pass on him, that Phoenix wont.

Phoenix could be a good landing spot for Ball. He needs to get in better shape, he would have the respected Suns medical staff to work with, and his personality would fit with Phoenix IMO. Im sure Steve Nash would be there for advice.

I posted an article in another thread about his injury, he has extra ligaments thats y he healed so quickly and bounced back so well.

He's falling because the games he's playing his impact is not there in some of them, and then he's not working out for teams. But he won't fall past 9, I think Dallas takes him at 9.

I have to appreciate Frank's commitment to his team though. He has winning intangibles. Not only does he defend and not look for his own number, he does not care that his draft stock is falling because he wants to win a championship for his team. Most guys in his situation would do what their mom said and just go do the workouts.

In a way I really like what the kid is about. Character. Unselfishness. Defense. I see why the Knicks are so high on him. If Knicks are keeping Rose which is still a possibility as Phil and Rose are fond of each other, I think we can wait for Nti much moreso and there wouldn't be pressure on him to be anything more than he is comfortable being right now - which is a defender, spot up shooter, role player on offense.
