Diallo might be pulling out of the draft.

I'm kinda surprised for the young kid to pull out when he had to of known he was gonna go in the 1st round. Maybe he didn't get any guarantees from a team.

I like Canyon as a Triangle Fit with more upside than usual for an older prospect.

I don't see the fit. He does nothing well.

I don't see the upside either. He helped the Gators this year and made some big shots but he is a defensive liability and his offense isn't great enough to carry him.

I can see him going to the D League and learning the system and being a solid, smart reserve guard. Good size, length and athletic ability. Could be A younger more athletic version of Sasha n Kuz.

Honestly the only thing carrying him is his last name.

Not saying this isn't true but the kid has the BBIQ, size, length, skill and Elite athletic ability to play in the NBA! He's a worthy prospect to be a role player for this team looking for Triangle fits. As a UDFA I like the idea of bringing him in.

I watched him all year and he didn't display any elite athleticism that matched his tested numbers. There are too many good players other than him. He needs time in Europe.

Offensive Rating of 120 and Defensive Rating of 98.8. He was doing something right. The Elite Athletic ability is something that may be of more importance in the NBA as he has the quickness and agility plus the Hops and length of elite Prospects. He can stay here and be groomed in our DLeague system!

Kentucky's Isaiah Briscoe, South Carolina's Sindarius Thornwell, Duke's Amile Jefferson, Colorado's Derrick White, Florida's Canyon Barry and Columbia's Luke Petrasek, grandson of a former Knick, were all scheduled to workout for the Knicks today, ESPN has learned. Thornwell, Jefferson, Briscoe, Barry, Petrasek were confirmed by ESPN as working out today. It is unclear if White worked out, though he was expected to. Also worth noting: Barry, the son of Rick Barry, was the sixth man of the year in the SEC. The Knicks were his first workout and he's expected to work out for more teams, per Greg Javardian, his representative at Elevation Basketball. The Knicks have the No. 8 pick and two second-round picks in June's draft.

It had a lot to do with the entire team started to click because kacey Hill and chiozza started to excell and Ebunu was setting great picks and rebounding while elevating his finishing at the rim. Barry did a lot of great things and was a nice calming presence but his ratings are high partly because of the guys around him.

If you go to UF msg boards I doubt you will find many that thinks he is a NBA player.

That's fine but I don't go by those opinions. Some players actually fit better in the NBA game than the college system and some guys flourish in College but don't translate to the NBA!

You are absolutely right, some guys do fair better but it is troubling that a guy who has been around bball all his life and stayed in school until he was 23 y/o could not play at a higher level when he is physically and mentally more mature.

I just think players like him need a long time to develop and have to be snatched up in the window of time when they are at their peak and fill a specific need for a team. For those type of players you keep your eye on them but let other teams waste their resources while you bring in players who are more talented and have a quicker learning curve. Barry is in that Lance Thomas, Kuz, Bazemore, ju. Holiday, and Carroll type lane, imo.

Bottom line to me is that the guy is a nuclear engineering major and has Bball DNA so if anyone can eventually figure it out he can and I'm rooting for him

Members of the Knicks front office, including president Phil Jackson, attended at least two recent agency workouts in Los Angeles, according to DraftExpress.com. Jackson, GM Steve Mills and other Knicks execs attended the Roc Nation agency workout and the BDA agency workout in Los Angeles this week, per DraftExpress, which also attended the workouts. Draftees signed to Roc Nation include Villanova's Josh Hart and Florida State's Dwayne Bacon. Draftees signed to BDA include Duke's Frank Jackson, who recently underwent surgery, and Wisconsin's Nigel Hayes. Members of the Knicks front office are expected at the CAA Pro Day in California later this week. CAA draftees include Knicks target Frank Ntilikina (who will not attend the workout), Louisville's Donovan Mitchell, Duke's Amile Jefferson, who worked out for the Knicks, and Oregon's Jordan Bell and Duke's Luke Kennard.

Have the Knicks looked at anyone mocked for pick #8 or in that range yet?

They usually start with the second rounders and work up from there. Though I think there's always been a bit more secrecy with the lottery pick workouts (politics and strategy!)

Knicks draft workouts.
