I like UNC Jackson as well. He's heady, long and plays both ends. There was talk of packaging Lee and O'Quinn some time ago but what will this get us ?

And for the record I'm leery of trading down

We traded the pick to Chicago that yielded pippen

Would need to be very particular circumstances and not just quantity

Glad we didn't get top 3 because Knicks would have gotten ball which I was afraid of

I doubt we trade down unless someone offers a ton of future picks or something. The talent drops off and there are too many unknowns. We can still get a good player at 8

definetly raw but the upside could be huge. Its kind of a boom or bust pick.

Wouldnt be suprised if they swapped with Philly with the Celtics taking Jackson and Philly taking Cults. If they keep Fultz then Bradley may become available. With Thomas Bradley Smart all due for raises. They can slide Fultz in and keep the cheaper player in Smart.

I'd trade down with Denver if they offered Juan and their 13th pick.

I wouldn't trade down with the major drop in talent after top 10. I'll probably take monk if he's there. Low downside, he's at least going to be a high level scorer, but if he develops as a pg, he has huge upside. Freak athlete, lights out shooter.

A string of poor outcomes have put us in a very vulnerable draft position. My board hasn't changed, with the risk/reward drop-off significant after pick 7. At this point, my only preference is to NOT draft Monk - hopefully he goes ahead, leaving any of the top 7 to fall.

1. Markelle Fultz
2. Lonzo Ball
3. Dennis Smith
4. Josh Jackson
5. Jonathan Isaac
6. Jayson Tatum
7. De'aaron Fox
8. Frank Ntilikina
9. Lauri Markaanaen

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

We can actually use that kind of Kemba Walker/Eric Gordon shooter/scorer at SG is we had a PG who is a floor leader. If Monk was a PG and not a SG in a PG body it would help tremendously

His highlight looks good... but watching his weaknesses like this shows he's not as polished as everyone thinks he is.

All jokes aside, he's slow and can't get separation... I'm not a fan of the kid

code! what's up my man? good to see you lurking, this board misses your posting. im in agreement with your big board here, although towards the tail end i'd have monk in there. i'm just curious - what's your hangup with him?

Monk can be really good. Doesn't have to develop into a pure pg. I see him scoring 20 a game in a couple years in the league. Monk and porzingis are guys you can completely build an offense around. The focus after that can be surrounding them with defenders. Monk is built for today's game. Give me guys who can shoot and are athletes. Monk fits that. Who cares about his size. If he were 6'6 he probably goes #1. There are a ton of 6'3 combo guards dominating the league right now.

I think If Monk is there we have to take him. He had a pros game. Lou Williams is a good comparison. Jr Smith is a good comparison too. To compare, Smith plays alot like Lowry. He's often bullied college guards. He's not gonna do that in the NBA. He also reminds me of Isiah Canaan. He's not the athletic kid he was in high school. In high school he was looking like Steve Francis.

I agree... I'm in agreement with you that Frank Jackson is just as good a prospect as Smith, Monk and Frenchy... that's exactly who i would draft with their #15, #20 or #26 pick.... all three for the #8 pick is fine with me.
