Yeah, they get it. $30 mil a year on him does more harm than good. You'd have to give me a lot of assets for me to be willing to take supermax contract Melo. Some of their quotes:

Wouldn't have wanted this clown 10 years ago, much less now.

To be honest, the challenge of all challenges for the Heat organization would be to make Carmelo care enough to get in shape and play D.

Worst idea ever. He's not even a good player.

To be fair, I was selective here. It does look like about 20% of the posters wanted to bring him to Miami.

He is stubburn, but not a cancer. He can play 2 positions and can shoot you back in a game.

I said Decent.

He barely shoots better than the worst shooting teams in the league. He definitely can shoot you back in a game. But he'll shoot you out of more games. And we haven't even brought up the defensive end of the game.
