Lavar Ball has the same type of attention getting overbearing personality as our president (who also has no problem sharing his unfounded opinions). Ball is costing his kids money at this point, as they have not even got into the league and they already have a negative stigma from their dad's antics. Sponsors are going to be afraid to deal with the Balls. It really is selfish behavior. The focus should be on his kids, not him, but his ego is so big that he cannot get out of sons' way.

I've often heard NBA players say its a man's league. This kid is gonna have to make it on his ability, but his father is doing him no favors with these outlandish statements. His dad's statements are flat out racist. They are just as bad as Al Campanis stating that black players can't swim or whatever b.s. he said years ago.

I'm sure Lonzo's agent will be advising him. I wouldn't be surprised if his agent loves Lavar and wants him to keep it up. Anyway.... it's tough to see this play out. At tyre end of the day Lonzo is a child. His brothers are still in high school.

Lonzo doesn't have to disown his father. If asked about these comments, all he has to say is that they won as a team, and they lost as a team. That would be a good way to not only keep his stock up, but boost it as well.

Granted it isn't easy at that age, but he wouldn't be the first young NBA baller to politely check his parent(s).

The man just has no class, plain and simple.

He's an ******* and unfortunately ESPN and lot of other networks have given him a voice. He raised some talented kids, by no means does that mean he deserves a seat at the table.

Low class statement after low class statement.

It's his sons responsibility to denounce what his father says and shows he has his teammates back. Otherwise he just serves as a mouth piece for his father.

It would be a great thing for charity to put him on a court with MJ and watch him be dismantled and embarrassed on live tv. Hopefully that would allow the media to blacklist the guy and stop making everything he does front page news
