Reggie has a better career WS/48. Jackson is down in rebounding and points at the rim and I think the knee injury is bothering him. The question is was last season a fluke or will he recover from his knee issues and go back to being the player he was a season ago. When you bring up knee issues that is a real concern and needs to be seriously examined. I would be more comfortable with Jackson if his salary was locked in at $15m instead of increasing every year.

If Reggie Jackson doesn't go back to last year version you basically get a better version of Jennings/Rose wrapped in one PG. You get the usg of Rose with the Ast% of Jennings.

I'm getting angry. It's like the Knicks are a winning team. We ate losing right now with Rose here and there have been plenty of incidents to pin on Rose to make him a cancer. I wish it was one comment by SVG because then it would be a no brainer. By the time he forced his way out of OKC he was hated. His team held a players only meeting because of him. There is a lot of history of not getting along with teammates and coaches. Maybe this move gets something to click and he changes but his issues have followed him.

From what I remember, okc had Reggie Jackson buried behind westbrook and only played him when westbrook was hurt. When he did play Reggie was a beast. Then when westbrook cane back they buried him back on the bench. I term you what.... I would be pissed too.

As far as DETROIT? They are looking to get rid of Drummond as well. In my opinion, the wings in Detroit want the ball. Reggie is justified getting his 15-17 points per. It's not like he's shooting 38% fun the field like Rubio.

It's about fit in this league and point guards change address just as much if not more than coaches. If Reggie Jackson came here is think he would find his home. Guys here keep saying we need a pick abs roll pg and a pg that can hit the three? Well Reggie Jackson is very good at what he does. We're not going to get Jrue Holiday and frankly Reggie is better

I would take Reggie Jackson as our Knicks starter PG over Rubio and Rose everyday of the week ..
especially having Jennings as our back-up PG

WHY? I haven't been reading many good things about Jackson from his own team. He seems like he's not the kind of Team Oriented Passing PG we need.

Eh, I'm not interested either way. Even if he repeats last year, it's not like he's a good bargain at $17 mil a season. At best, his upside is that he plays at the value of his contract (but not beyond it). Now, if we were getting rid of Noah for him, that would be a whole different story.

If he returns to the level he was a year ago I would not call it a bargain but I do think it would be pretty fair market value. Now if he can improve and some how combine the rebounding and defense he displayed in okc with the passing he did in Detroit while continuing to improve as a shooter he would become a bargain. If he could put up 53.5 - 54 ts%, 4.5 rebs, and 7.5 asts to go along with some average to good defense he would become an above average player
