Simply means that a trade he would be willing to accept has not come up yet. Seems to imply that he has been given some potential trade possibilities, but that his plan is not to leave without a good landing point for HIM.

That's pretty fair. Word is that Cousins' agent scuttled a trade that Sacramento was trying to arrange, Divac came out and said that was the better offer. These stars run the league... there wouldn't be a league or a $110M salary cap without them. I think it's fair for them to have say in the matter once they've paid their dues to a certain extent.

Also, I sort of read that as him really wanting to go to the Clippers, but the Clippers couldn't make a deal that would work for the Knicks.

The Clippers have discussed Blake to the Celtics for Crowder, picks, and Smart or Bradley. Do they flip some of that to get Melo if they can do that deal.

Not much could be better for us in trading Melo then Boston getting involved cause they have what we really need in draft picks and young players.

it makes a lot of sense for LAC. Move Blake for parts. Use the parts for Melo. CP and Melo are besties so that ensures CP3 remains a clipper and Melo is better fit next to DJ as he's more a shooter.

I could see LAC upgrading with maybe Bradley and using some parts to bring in Melo.

If Blake is gonna go to Boston then what will also make a three team even harder is i'm sure Boston will want Blake to agree to a new deal with them before they trade for him since he's a free agent after this season. Boston might do this if they know they won't be able to get Butler or P.George but those two are their first two targets.

both those guys are going to cost a lot more than Blake. Indy isnt trading him. They want to build around PG/Turner. Chicago might but they will want at least a better package than Boogie got.
