sure.. so who are the guys you are targeting? Jennings goes by. Resign Rose? Draft? Hand the team to Ron Baker? Whats your plan?

I have a great plan for the Knicks one that should have been implemented in 2000. Since we have some players of value I would look to trade them and try hard to get picks for them. If the Knicks can manage to get some first rounders then my target would be Lorenzo Ball. If we can land Monk, Fox might be good as well. If the Knicks can get another first rounder a late one I might go for a player like Bacon from Florida State. With the second round picks I would look Euro or seniors preferably a Villanova player.

Thats my plan I want to get the rebuilding in full gear. The vets the Knicks should consider are second tier or third tier players. I'm not in a hurry to win I want growth. The east is done for another 2-4 years it's LeBron's. I'm not even going to challenge it. I'm only concerned about new player development.

I'd have to look at the free agents for next year but the answer very well might be "Nobody". We're on pace to win 34 games this year after winning 32 last year so what improvement has Jenning brought to the team? In my opinion, nothing or virtually nothing. And if he's bringing virtually no value to the team why would we tie up cap space; we can find someone from the D-League to do virtually nothing for us for cheap.

We won the same games with KP also... should we move him as well for a dleague player or maybe some other asset? I mean I cant think of a more vague way to measure a single player's value, and you offer no alternatives, just "anything can be better."

I don't need to offer alternatives, this team will be bad whether or not Jennings is on it so I don't care who we sign on as a 1-year stopgap. If Jennings doesn't improve the team why lock him up to a long term deal? He's also 27 years old and in his physical prime. What we're seeing now is prime Brandon Jennings; he's not going to get any better.

KP, on the other hand, is only 21 and is still growing physically and learning the NBA game. He has plenty of room to grow.
