He's great. His shot is the drawback, but that can be added in time. His playmaking, speed, and defense are elite. There are about 12 players in this draft who would be top 5-6 in most drafts. And even though i don't see any franchise players in this group, i think there will be a lot of all-stars or close to it, and once you get past the top 2 or 3 players, there's little to no difference between the remaining in that group. It's all preference. Basically what i am saying is, we need to get into that top 12. Looks like we are already there. But top 8 would probably solidify getting one of the 5 PGs, and Fox is a great option. I think at worst he's a better version of Rubio, at best he's a poor-man's Wall.
Yeah, that is what I saw with him - I did have the poor man's Wall thought, too. I really liked his game. I feel like he'd be a great fit for KP and what Hornacek wants to do... though not necessarily what Phil wants to do.
It'll be very interesting to see where the pick lines up - there are already a few guys I really like a lot from what little college bball I've seen this year.
We'd be 11th pick right now... but we're only 3 games out of the 4/5/6 pick range - lots of teams have 18, 19 wins.
