All of this is the reason why Melo for Rondo works. Kristaps needs to learn this exact philosophy to get to the next level. He's not gonna learn that from Melo and Rose

The Knicks don't have dysfunction. That's what's bizarre about this whole thing.

I'm looking at it like this. We are roster building and we want to build around willy and KP. They need a point guard. Rondo is that guy. I want our players to be around a guy like Rondo. A guy that takes this wining thing serious. We all need to draft a pg. Rondo could be here for 2 years while we draft his successor.

On Melo's end, he could go to Chicago and play with Butler, Wade, Lopez with Chris Paul dangling in the wind. Sounds like a happy situation. The Bulls would have to compensate uso. Rondo plus a young guy and a pick. Give the Knicks Valentine and a 2017 pick. Maybe even Mirotic. That's a great deal for us.

If that is his position, then he has my respect. Pierce and Garnett are the type of people that leave it all on the floor, they are not about building their brands, they are about playing basketball and winning. Rondo seem like he is standing up for the right things. I guess these are old fashioned values that get ridiculed in today's Diva based league and their teeming millions of psychotic fans, but those are good values to have.

Rose definitely, but everyone seemed ok with it from teammates interviews. The team didn't suspend him. Phil doesn't have to address the media. Melo does. Since when does the team President have to face the media on a daily basis? 30 teams in the nba. When the time comes Phil will speak. Toxic relationships? Micromanaging the coach? That's all highly over exaggerated.

Which brings me back to the point... we're not winning. We all know building around Melo isn't working and we need to get younger. So there is no reason to even have all that drama in your mind. We get a pick and a young player for Melo and we are good money.

Of course Phil had to face the media. Passive aggressive tweets and interviews, be around to face the players you criticize or insult. When Rose was AWOL he left it to Hornacek to face the media when no one knew where he was, when it should have been Phil, and absolutely there should have been some punishment. He skated.

Wouldn't want to know your definition of a healthy relationship if you dont consider the one between Melo and Phil as toxic. As long as the drama is still there it will be on everyone's mind. Its not over yet. Lets see what happens.

Its only drama to those that love it.

I see this as a organic break up. When Phil made the moves it was understood this was a last Stand. It didn't work so it's time to give it up for Kristaps. No drama to talk about. This was written already. It's just playing out. When Melo is traded I just hope everyone has mercy for the kid from Latvia

Says the guy with the frequent drama queen rants, lol. I want to see the team win, we arent arguing about the successes, we're arguing about the losing, the conflicts, and everything else that comes with it. Thats drama wether you like it or not.

I only start bitching when the trolls are out. At least we're talking basketball. You will never see me complaining about basketball discussions.
