Not a snowballs chance in hell I'd give Rose any big contract. He's clearly an improvement of the dire PG's we have had in recent times but he will not take this team to the next level. Given his past injuries and very inconsistent play there is no chance I'd burden the team with another bad long term contract to a player who's best years are behind him.

Yep it would have to be short even if it was a high price. Even then I would prefer they try and steal someone like Teague or George Hill.

What does Rose get you? He is nothing more than an sparkplug/6th man on a good team. He can't run an offense, he is high usage, he doesn't make his teammates better, not particularly good on defense, not a good 3 point shooter. Why would you keep this type of player, especially at a high salary?
Rose is not the answer.
