That chart shows PHX at no. 23 on the health spectrum last year.
They fired their coach thinking it a fix. Now he is ours.
PHX not the same team that once put humpty dumpty back together again.

When it comes to Rose I have been impressed by his play. I didn't love the trade only because of all the injuries he has had. However his legs have held up very well. That's why I'm surprised he has this back issue now. I'm hoping its not a serious thing but if it is it kinda shows why we cant give him a long term deal. I would be open to like a 2 year deal but his injury history make it very very risky to give him like 5 years or something like that

Million $ question: how many years to you give Rose (if you want him back). Is the back related to the legs? Is this just a 1-off back spasm prob (trying to think of another player who had back spams... did Jordan or was that Pippen)?

and if you don't want him back, it makes more sense to trade his expiring contract than to lose him for nothing.

For another contract of equal value? FOr assets? For trade assets? Or let him expire but who is available? Griffin? Drue Holiday?

Steph Curry?? Kid would be crazy to leave San Fran but.........If team wins a chip? Don't win a chip?
Money for front line? Do they trade Klay? Starting center is Pachula, kinda sad. Curry, Melo and a unicorn? Thats appealing.

If they extend him before the offseason is it a 3 year deal? I think that would be the way to go if his back issue isn't serious. He certainly seems to have overcome his knee issues.

Is the PHO training staff different now than 5-6 years ago? Games missed by a team can't alone really prove or disprove how good a training staff is. I remember the Knicks at one time seemed notorious for misdiagnosing injuries and reporting guys being out for a week and it ends up being two months.

Didn't Lebron have a back issue last season?

Why not look it up yourself. We had a comment that spoke to a bygone era.
What was the roster like? Kidd, Sheed and Baron Davis?

IN a city with some of the best drs. in the world, who and what makes up a good staff?
Famed orthopedist Dr Norman Scott over saw the team until 2004 and then Dr Lisa Callahan took over as head physician, but to over see all phases of health.
Was it the players like H20, Ewing and LJ at fault, or the drs.? Fans like to assign blame on the Doc.

This matter? Of course it does!

As did Love over the last two seasons. Lebron took two weeks off, either last year or the year before and he was like a new man.

Pippen had back issues and played through them. He eventually opted for surgery one of the few that didn't lose anything from his game after back surgery.

The Nets just signed Spencer Dinwiddie. Knicks need to pick someone up. There are some good names in the dl. I hope if they go this route they don't just bring up Randle.

I would not give rose more than 20M/yr, regardless of the length of the contract.

Somewhere someone is hoping they pick up Randle.
Others when not under microscope look better.
Wouldn't Baker be the best choice to earn some burn? He has the size, had the knowledge, and is already here. In fact, that is why he is on the roster.
Thats no guarantee he succeeds, but if Phil thought another was better, he would have him.
If your going to develop players, one has to be patient. Baker did some good things the other night.

Baker is better than he's looked so far IMO. The kid needs some time to adjust to the NBA level. I like his toughness and I think he can give some decent minutes off the bench once he calms down. He's not a PG but I think he can function well in the Triangle.

Don't you think he should be dominating the DLeague? Or at least be doing well?
