btw, you might want to check out a place called SCORES while you're in town too...there are lots of nice things to see there

Things/Places I like in NYC:
- Museums!
- Broadway shows!
- Central Park!
- The Village (for great jazz and good food)!
- UN building tour
- Battery Park
- Apollo theater (in Harlem)
- Grand Central Station! (gorgeous building that Mrs. Kenndy worked to preserve)
- David Letterman's Late Show!

- Check out China Town, Little Italy, Jewish community for good food
- Go check out US Open Tennis matches and/or Yankees game!

Ave A from Houston up to St Marks and walk on that until you hit Broadway, then walk up broadway for a few blocks and turn to Washington Square Park and hang out there for a few hours but remember say no to the rastas selling weed.

ok guys, it's 8 PM in France, in less than 12 hours I'll take off from Paris to get my first shot at NYC.

I wanted to thank you all for your help and advices. I'm sure they'll be useful.

Bon Voyage! BTW you might see some electronic stores in the areas frequented by tourists that say "going out of business" stay away from those.They are tourist traps there to steal your money.

you might want to avoid those street peddlers who are selling "genuine Rolex watches" on the street corners for $50 too.
