Yeah, I advocated for re-signing Lance, but Holiday and Kuz and Willy are making him seem less necessary. KP and Melo are playing a lot of minutes right now though. We'll need Lance at some point.
I was thinking the same, but upon looking at the stats, KP is at 33 and Melo at 33.8
For Melo that is definitely less than last year and he looks fresher.
For KP he is a young player that needs to get serious opportunities and chances to grow as a player.
I am a little concerned for fatigue when it comes to KP because he has not played this many before. He looked exhausted by the OT last night and that's even with playing less minutes in foul trouble.
The thing with Lance Thomas is that we had his early bird rights so it allowed us to sign him without using capspace. He had a low cap hold. When he comes back to health, maybe he can help us. I do like that Kuzminskas more than Thomas. Has better dribbling skills and seems more of a natural fit in Hornachek's offense.
