It's not remotely a big deal. Lou can be waived at any time and it will have minimal cap impact. He hasn't made the team yet and the Knicks are at the cap, so it doesn't move the needle in any way shape or form.

Its not always about skill. Lou might be a great locker room/practice/off the court player. He's a 15th man. Yes the Knicks have a need at point guard but they only have minimum salary to pay. The Knicks have a stacked training camp roster right now. We need Lou to help push the guys that are here. If we have space for him to be that 15th guy again then he will be here. Like I explained that is a good thing

Knicks want be be able to play five 30+ year old players at one time.

It's not even about kids developing,it's about utilizing the roster spot with a player who can help you win games if called upon,and Luoy ain't that dude.

If you going to spend money on a Vet, spend it on someone who's been through the trenches, someone with a winning pedigree, the Kurt thomas,Camby, Rasheed types, players who are respect right off the top.

What pisses me off even more is that Lou is not even getting better, hasn't added sht to his game, it's like he's ok with it..

If you want youth or some one with a winning pedigree.... who would you sign?

The Knicks have signed plenty of youth and talented vets.... when it comes to minimum salary and camp invites I really don't understand why there has to be all this crying.

IT'S TRAINING CAMP TIME! What's so hard to understand about this? They can carry extra players so they will. Lou is a guy they know and like so they gave him some decent money. Nothing about it makes him more likely to make the final roster. But even if he did they can still check out young players on the D League roster. The 15th spot is not a big deal. They've been keeping it open since Phil took over.

Look at the guys on the roster and it's clear some are going to the D League.

well those rings are old history. This is the new NBA. They didn't have advanced stats when Phil was winning rings so those guys were basically fumbling around in the dark
