My point is that people are worried about the fact that the guys we're adding are going to be going into older ages thru their time with the Knicks. It's not just about THIS SEASON but the next 3-4 seasons. Also it's not that EVERY player on the team is older but rather that KEY players on the team are older. Phil values vet experience and has seen it work for him in the past.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm? noah will get older. and thats the only reason i hate that 4 yr deal. hes already starting to break down. but by the time hes 34 he wont be a big factor. hell be a mentor
by the time melo is 34 im not sure hell be on the team
age isnt a concern to be worried about in my opinion
Phil and Pop both know that with older guys you have to rest them and they will miss some games due to nagging aches and pains. As long as you don't overuse them in the regular season you should be able to get thru and be ready for the playoffs. That's what he's going to be looking to do. The younger players will have a HUGE role to play in sucking up minutes and filling in during the season. They've got to do their part to keep the older guys fresh for the post season.
