All good teams have at least a splash of crazy, that type of player willing to do anything and back it up with some toughness. Clarkson may be decent as a plug and play 2 guard who can cover the point and Turner, Lee, Crawford are nice stop gap options if any of them would come on a budget contract. No way to Smith, Gordon, Waiters, Afflalo, Martin. Never impressed with Derozan. reminds me of a swingman version of Charles Smith. Wade on a 1 and 1 contract would be nice, but again, as Mark Schlereth would say the best ability is availability and Wade is getting up there. Agree about Fournier. Was also interested in Beal, but the injuries are a concern. Apparently his defense has taken a step back as well. http://nothinbutnets.com/2016/06/27/brooklyn-nets-bradley-beal-is-worth-offering-a-max-contract/2/ |

Shooting and defense. So Bazemore or Lee would be the best overall fit.
