^^^^^ I hope so. Rumor was it would be Rambis. However, it would be nice to have Hornacek involved in recruiting.
This also has Hornacek as the coach.

lol thought the same thing when I saw this video. It made me smile. He has the complete "Old Man/Old School game repertoire with all the fakes and low post moves with great footwork. The type of crafty moves that require no athleticism but you can always get your shot off anyway down low. Seems like he has a high B-ball IQ and that's why Phil must love him. Makes you root for a kid like this.

Oh man yeah I love that stuff!!! I've been joking with my sons for years doing that stuff to them. IMO more players need to learn that stuff and they could extend their careers for a LONG time. I just scoot down the court at a good pace but not too fast and then I get to work. LOL I would actually be interested to see this kid on the D League team.

I think I saw Bachynski on another team's roster. And didn't Thanasis go back to Europe? We don't have Thanasis's right anymore, I'm pretty sure.

If Early had Avila's skills he'd be an All Star.

I think you are right on both counts. But I don't think Bachynski played on the Knicks summer league team last year and still went back to Westchester. They certainly have had a long look at him. He seems like he would is ready to at least be on the bench of an nba team.

Yeah Avila has actual Basketball Skills. Early really needs to have developed his skills to make the team this time. I hope he does cuz he's got good athletic ability which would be useful if he could do more than just stand on the perimeter.

I think the Knicks want bigs that can run, move laterally on D, shoot and pass now. As much of those attributes as they can get in a player will be their focus.

Yeah...he is coaching, which I like.

I see the SL as a being important for Early, even if it is only SL.

Not sure how many more shots he's going to get to prove himself (excuse the pun).

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Early isn't signed for next season, is he? He may well be playing for his NBA career this summer league...

I saw some highlight vids of Assem Marei.

First,I have no idea of the competition he's played against overseas, and he was D II in college.

The guy has some legit moves in the post with some length and jumping ability, but I did not see a single highlight in which he even took a traditional midrange J, and I know nothing of his ability on D.

Would like to see what he can do against some legitimate NBA size and athleticism, but the fact that they couldn't find some jumpers to show you tells you he has some severe limitations.

Saw the highlights too and was really impressed! Did you see the way he attacked the rim and finished strong on pick n rolls! He also has low post moves. I love the way this kid attacks. Again, like you said, how good is the talent he's playing against here, but he looked like a beast against them. Curious to see how he plays in SL. From what I read, he was one of the best College Div 2 players a year ago (wasn't eligible to play Div 1 bc of something about playing in Egypt). Reminds me a little bit of Ronnie Seikaly.

Four of the guys played in France last year. I wonder if the Knicks scouted France heavily or if it is just a coincidence.

Same name, different guy.

Google "Devin Booker, Clemson"

Or "Devin Booker, French league MVP"
