You know what they call good sized SG who shoot well?
First round picks.
The undrafted guys went undrafted for a reason.
B.Forbes didn't get drafted and he can shoot the rock.
I promise you there are other reasons he did not.
If we wanted to give up a restricted #1 and 2.5mm we would have Brogdon Mccaw and Hammons
give up a number 1 in a good draft, for a bunch of second rounders in a bad draft. What am I missing?
Give up a lottery restricted pick and 2mm for
A 6-5 225 pd Sg who can shoot and play d
A 6-7 190 pd Sg who can play pg shoot defend and pass
A 7-1 275 pd athletic shot blocking c with offensive skills?
For one restricted pick and 2.5 mm. My friend you just saw how I would've done it
and the restricted pick might yield what Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Greek Freak, Even Fornier who?
I realize you can get talent in the second round, but the odds are much, much higher you find impact players in the first round
There are good odds not a single one of those three guys makes a roster or plays a significant minute. Yes, they're talented and I'm not trying to disrespect them, but the league is full of talent better than that. A lot of good college players excelled at feasting on inferior competition, which doesn't exist in the NBA
Who knows maybe Brogdon is the next Kevin Martin, and Mccaw is another Draymond, but the odds are much more heavily stacked that you don't remember their names a year from now
