this and now isn't the time to trade him. KP isn't read to play full time center (if that is even his destined position). Rolo stays. As his contract gets older I could see him moved for assets, but now we NEED this asset on the floor.
what would it take for KP to be ready?
experience and durability. He gets pushed around, and center may not be the best position for him anyway. He may be more Duncan like where he's a PF that plays some center.
Not sure I want my franchise player hanging in the post all game where these thugs can take pot shots all game at him. I like having that rim protecter blue collar guy next to him.
I have mentioned trading Rolo later on for an asset, but if he emerged as the starting center for the next 6-7 years next to KP I would have no problem with that. Might be best.
