I could care less. Those guys dissed Phil bad back when they offered him the job but changed their minds and hired MDA. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed playing mind games and then rubbing it in later. He only has love for Jeanie, not Jim or anyone else in LA. This quirky stuff from Phil is part of the package. Pop has his issues as does Pat Riley, but they WIN!!! That's what really matters.

People talk ish about Phil now cuz the Knicks haven't won yet. Once they do people won't jack to say.

i agree about riley and pop. I dislike riley but he wins. Phil as a coach is a bigtime winner. As a team president it hasnt happened yet but hopefully will happen soon

I have no doubt that the Knicks will start winning. This season didn't workout as I hoped but I think Phil and his staff will make the needed improvements. We know what this team needs and it's much less than last summer. There was roster progress even in this losing season.

We've only had to endure 2 losing seasons under Phil. One was necessary in order to draft KP. Last year was a fail but it also has led to hiring Hornacek so I'm not looking back on that either. Let's hope we can get the needed talent this summer.

Yeah im hopeful of the future. I dont look back either. I try to be honest and positive at the same time

honest? not so sure bout that ...

you seem to have a hard time with critical thinking and taking emotion out of it.

You must love your kids to death so better to be this way than the opposite extreme I guess ...

Yup my child is my first priority. As for the knicks i dont necessarily agree. Sure im a big sports fan but i dont put too much emotion into it because its only a game. Now when i play basketball im very competitive i admit

shoot sorry! I thought I was responding to nixluva saying that he tries to be honest ... lol my bad

no problem

I think it was more of a response to Byron(always getting fired) Scott. I know if phil had the 2nd rnd pick, he would have went with Oak

Only when KP turned out to be a winning hand did he reveal that he was chasing the straight the whole time.

Typical gambler logic.

This is all. He set himself up to have either bragging rights or the players he wanted more, right or wrong he doesn't like to lose.

Yup. Better to be lucky than be good. That's why I want the Knicks to tank hard this year in a strong draft class. 2016 looks to be a weak draft, but 2017 looks to be strong like 2015. I mean the top 4 of the 2015 draft figure to be all starting caliber, maybe even all star or better players. 2017 figures to be of a similar quality.

Phil needs more chances to chase that straight and gamble once again for the hope and future of this franchise, and in order to do that, have to guarantee a top 5 pick. They have to lose, and lose alot to get better in the long run.

Yup ... seemed that way

Phil is such a front runner sometimes. He loves to gloat but earlier it was you really have to wait and see 3-4 yrs down the road before you can determine a draft pick. How is it considered playing mind games when he said he tries to warn Buss' guys? Also, Why would you tell another staff before the draft how much they should draft a player you like?

He might be a front Runner but it feels great to have something related to the knicks to be a front runner on.

Thank the GLA that his failure led us to KP.
