Also Phil has had some really good 3pt shooters over the years. Hodges, Paxson and Kerr in particular. Even tho the amount of 3pt attempts has been growing it's obvious that Phil's teams did use the 3pt shot at an above average level until he last 2 years when we haven't really had a lot of confident 3pt shooting players. Obviously Phil would want that as well! Who isn't looking for guards that can shoot? I would think that it's pretty clear he's hunting for guards that can shoot the 3 just by looking at the guys he's been having his staff look to bring in. I think he'd love to have players who can do a little more than 3-D but also pass and create.
