I know who Peter vecsey is. He used to be an Insider. Sometimes he tries to be that guy today. He's steven a smith, Frank isola and David Aldridge before they became the douche bags they are. He used to play in the Rucker bank in the day too.

anyway he's just another dude that uses their platform to bash the Knicks for no good reason

No one heard any rumors on the Jerian Grant trade.

Fast forward to last off season when greg Monroe was supposed to be a done deal only for Monroe to come out and say he never considered the Knicks. Then flipping that to say Phil can't attract free agents because of the triangle.

I can key on so many other reports especially the recent ones talking about Phil reaching out to Luke Walton which Phil and golden state both said was false.

While I'm thinking about it, i'll add the "phil wants out of ny badly and wants to go back to the Lakers" report... completely false.

A stand must be taken... these reporters can't just have the fans spinning around causing all this drama for no good reason other than cause mayhem.....and then espn has big segments where their talking heads go on tirades based on false information. Then you wonder why we can't attract free agents and coaches.

I would love to start a site where it does nothing but talk about all the stuff that these New York media people write that are false just to start trouble. We could name names and post all their articles that they write that usually end up not being true and put a truthful one next to it. These douche bags need to be called out and it needs to be done in public. Now i have absolutely no idea how that could be done or even if it could be done but i bet we'd have a lot of fun with a site like that.

You just love anything that rips the Knicks and if it's not you doing it with every post you post then you love it when every writer/media person is doing it. Why is that?? Why can't you get behind the team you supposedly root for?? This is a serious question.

Also have to know when to back off a questionable story, and you have to think that some sources have agendas and tailor their stories to fit their agenda.

Big markets have big competition, and if someone from the Post says something is blue, you know that News columnist will say it is green. Par for the course in NYC.

I just don't get upset with this kind of stuff anymore...just have to attempt to sift through the BS to get to truth. Not easy, but the truth usually emerges at some point.

But it's not about what we the fans think, it's about how hard they make it to get quality free agents to come to our team and it is a real thing that the New York media definitely makes free agents think twice about coming here to get their names dragged through the mud as soon as something little happens.

What was stupid and backwards about drafting KP, Jerian and Willy? What was backwards and stupid about signing RoLo? What was backwards and stupid about rebuilding the D League team so that when we do send players there it's a nurturing environment with a good teaching coach? What was backwards and stupid about taking a flyer on a kid like Wroten on a contract that is safe for the team? It seems to me that without even trying hard you can point to a lot of reasonable moves that have been made.

Knicks management is always tight lip, so the media is left to take little tid bits from what ever sourcethey have and make there own assumption.

Most GMS around the league speak with the media on a consistent basis, but we all know how DOLAN feels about releasing any info, remember phil said he would be much more open to the media, then he shut his door 6 months after that, and only speaks when the rumors start flying.

NY has about 10 media outlets abouta dozen blog writers to deal with, it's the media capital, it's the market we play in, comes with territory

Phil talks now. He tweets.
that was then.

Soon, he'll chronicle the whole season via "Knick Notes".
The record of the team tells the full story.
