posting about it incessantly in a knicks forum isn't going to get your message to brass. it's only going to annoy the **** out of all the posters on the forum.

It's gonna be a while before we get to see Luka, RJ and, maybe, Randle in the Olympics. Even longer till we get to Summer league. Now is the time for Briggs to reach out to Sell and make know his intentions to marry Seth.

Seth Curry been on 7 teams. Briggs has added dozens and dozens of players since.
Can’t cut down the whole forest and claim it as your own. There are consequences to each draft pick and each contract committed to.

Probably the worst title on a post in a while mostly because it implies that not signing the other Curry is evidence of a narrow minded team. In my head, it’s akin to making the same statement about Austin Rivers after he went 10-10.

I have no issue with having Seth Curry on this team, though. I just wonder where he would be in your priority list with Cam Payne and TJ McConnell also getting looks.

I’ll toss Jalen Brunson, Devonte Graham and Lonzo Ball into the discussion for giggles. Obviously there is a cost-value discussion to be had.

I actually like Devonte Graham the best out of these guys on a cost-benefit analysis. He has a huge 6’7 wingspan despite his 6’1 height. Solid numbers in the starting lineup with crowded backcourt featuring LaMelo Ball, Terry Frazier and Malik Monk.

TJ McConnell reminds me of a pure effort guy. Like a Ron Baker. Don’t mind having him on the bench but if your team is relying on him, you probably aren’t that good.

Lonzo’s position reminds me most of Randle in the same and I want to give him the same kind of contract. Between LA and NO, he just hasn’t really taken the next step. That said, I see him as a potential All Star with the 3&D elements of his game.

Cam seems like a solid rotation guy. I don’t see him as the starting PG.

Jalen doesn’t feel obtainable. That said, I don’t feel nearly as strongly as many on this board about him. Feels like a guy with freedom to shoot in the second string lineup.

Seth is not quite as quick as Steph but as far as watching him--hes quality triangle PG all the way. He can dish it hes smart hes 6-3 hes a really good 3 pt shooter and he stays in front of his man.

Lol you did call it

I second the Devonte Graham. He has been on a steady improvement course his whole short career. He can do the PnR too, was one of the best at it in college.

BRIGGS May 3, 2005: "You know this kid Jerome James just had 5 monster playoff games against the Kings. He averaged 17 pts, 9 rebs, 2 blocks during the series. This is the type of center the Knicks have to get. We'll get Alonzo Mourning-like production for 1/5 the cost. I'm going to pound the tables for Jerome James the next few months."

You win more than you lose. People have to understand that the selection requires opportunity as well.

I’d bet if we asked you post-draft which rookies would be most impactful, after being able to adjust for the likely use in the rotation, that some of your picks would have been better.

Here's the deal BRIGGS, if you say we should pursue just about every player in the league, you are likely to have a some hits and misses. The problem is you only have 15 spots on the team. We can't sign everybody.

I don't mind Seth Curry at the right price but he will be 31 next season. He is who he is at this point. He is a solid back-up thats it. Having a good couple playoff games won't change that. The guy is on a new team every year. Why do you think that is? Also doesn't Quickley fil his role whith a much higher upside?
I would prefer Jalen Brunson over Curry personally. He is much younger and a better player
