Ben Bentil would be a decent pick.

the lottery is hard to tell and therefore the 2nd rd is even MORE hard to tell. theres a lot of good college players but also good players overseas. i have no idea who the knicks will get or buy. i have no preference - just hope theyre decent
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I like McCaw, CaLevert, Layman, and Finney-Smith. They all have there flaws but could provide much needed depth and might have a potential to hit big. LeVert has serious injury issues but his shooting ability is real and on top of that he makes plays for others then add into all that he has legit nba height and length for the SG position.

McCaw has been talked about already but I think he is an okay risk. He is so skinny though

Layman is an athletic combo forward. Can he use his atleticism to become a Mike Scott/Jerbko type player?

Finney-Smith is another combo forward that is probably more suited to play the 3 but does he have the quickness to guard NBA 3s?

Im a little different

I like Valentine if he drops past 16 and we can get a st rd pick

2nd round I like Bryn Forbes Derrick Jones and McCaw for guards and if we went big Bentil and Ochefu(undrafted)

You think Forbes gets drafted? I think he would be a nice UFA though. I just find it hard to see teams taking a flyer on an undersized SG. He is a flame thrower though

I think hes a much better player and what we actually want out of Langston Galloway. I want 2 guards who are 6-7 ish to compliment--so if we did bring in Curry and Forbes(which would make us one of the better 3 point shooting teams right away right --we can diversify with lets say Evan Turner and one of the 6-7 SG from college.

Something like

Seth Curry--6-2
Bryn Forbes 6-3
Evan Turner 6-7
Wroten 6-5
Grant 6-4
McCaw/Jones 6-7(defense)

With Curry and Forbes wed be able to get the spacing we need. This has been the same avenue for me all off season--this is my personal vision for the team. Id love to get Valentine but Im not sure we can. But I know we can get 2-3 2's and this is where these guys should be. In terms of the New York Knicks cost structure--this seems realistic.

Isaiah Whitehead hasn't formally signed with an agent, but the Seton Hall sophomore guard says he's "100 percent" gone if he gets a promise to be chosen in the first round of next month's NBA Draft.

"Oh yeah, 100 percent," Whitehead said Thursday at the NBA Draft Combine after going for 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting with 5 assists, 3 rebounds and no turnovers in a 109-69 victory. "You can't give up opportunities like that. I mean, when they tell you it's time to go, you just gotta go."

He added to SNY.tv: "And anybody at Seton Hall would have to agree with me. When they tell you that you're a first-round pick, you can't turn that down."

The Brooklyn native is currently projected as the No. 65 best prospect in 2016 by DraftExpress.com, and as the No. 35 pick in 2017, but he's hoping to impress here at the Combine.

Hes scary because hes an undersized SF who is not great at any one thing. I dont see him as a SG--hed have to be hidden a bit. Man I think after all of our picks that have included guys like Gianis brother and Early(who played the 4 in college) we need to find players that are either

A great at one skill

B Athletically superior and efficient in game with definite position

C Well proven in several areas with a definite position.

You'd like to look at this

Either the guys is very tall 7-0 athletic etc.. or has a high 2point % or a 45-40-80 player. Something that shows efficiency. Dealing with inefficient players is much more of a gamble. If you shot 36% in college--its even harder to shoot in the pros? Im going to hold judgement until I hear Jeff Hornaeck--how he wants to play but this team does need guys who can spread the floor and make the shot. Im also not counting on any rookie to play right away.

Still favor additional PG help in this draft if we can acquire a pick:

Tier 1: Cat Barber/Demetrius Jackson (both might wind up going in the 1st round)

Tier 2: Yogi Ferrell/Kay Felder/Marcus Paige

If Cat falls to the second he's another guy I'd love to have... but I don't see how he would

Well i was hoping you'd answer the question of where you think he's gonna go in the draft because some have him all the way up at 13 (C.Ford) and some have him in the 2nd round which is obviously a huge difference and i'm pretty sure he's gonna be a SG in the NBA but a SG that could play some SF if need be.
