crzymdups wrote:That is scary. The Knicks need to use that 15th spot and maybe create another spot to find a player if possible. They need back court help. There are guys out there. Also, Christian Wood has put up some big numbers in the d l. He is only 20. Grabbing him might be a positive as well.CrushAlot wrote:arkrud wrote:How many times did the other knick guards get take free throws? I am not sure that Jimmer is an nba player but to disregard the inability of the knick guards to draw fouls is missing a huge part of what is wrong with this team.CrushAlot wrote:crzymdups wrote:Tweet was deleted or there was problem with the URL: I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Saw an article today from Mike Vaccaro in the Post re: the Jimmer chants titled "Jimmer Fredette chants are a new low at MSG" online, and "Jimmer chants sign of the times" in the print edition, with "Garden chants have gone from inspiring to downright sad" as the URL slug! (Pick an angle, guys)
http://nypost.com/2016/03/02/garden-chants-have-gone-from-inspiring-to-downright-sad/ Actually, if Fredette were from Glen Cove and not Glens Falls, maybe this would be easier to accept. But Glens Falls is 200 miles away from Penn Plaza. Harrisburg, Pa., is closer. So is Wilmington, Del. The Garden has no attachment to Fredette other than the most important one: Interesting but kind of a weird take, particularly with the "this is not his hometown" angle. It says "New York" on the jersey and the guy comes from New York State and grew up a Knicks fan. The guy led the NCAA in scoring and won a ton of trophies in college during Jimmermania, and had a nice game against us a couple years ago. Fans know it's probably the last chance to see the kid as a Knick and yea, are tired of seeing Jose and Sasha if they aren't going to help us win. We been watching those guys for a decade. He was just the D-League MVP with the Westchester affiliate, and last I checked, that's closer than Harrisburg. Add to it the love for the underdog, I don't know... I probably would have joined in on the chant... does that make me an *******? Or just trying to have some fun at a game that isn't that fun as a Knicks fan? I don't know, it does seem like he's a victim of his earlier success and it's a shame that he's now just another member of a constantly growing ignoble fraternity of ex-Knicks.
