Sad to say, but Larkins would look great with the current roster

Honestly...don't you get bored saying the same thing in different ways almost every day in a new thread?

I think that everyone, including Phil, knows that we need at upgrade at the lead guard position...not sure that creating at least one post a day trying to get a direct or indirect shot at Calderon (Which is where you are going in this thread...don't insult my intelligence and say otherwise, please.) is going to accomplish anything but gets folks annoyed with what comes across to me as incessant whining on your part.

Move on...we all know your position about Jose. Make some observations on particular plays he screws up in the game thread without going into your typical rant. Might be refreshing to see this kind of thing from you.

This type of thread loses all credibility when it comes from the OP, and I'm pretty sure we've had discussions on Larkin, a guy who has not been able to move into the starting PG slot on the bloody Nets, for goodness sake.

What is the point of all this?

I don't usually attack other posters, but this is getting tiring, and redundant beyond all belief.

I cosign this petition. Way too repetitive. Be considerate of your fellow forum members. Believe it or not your whiny posts are indeed annoying. Stick to the analysis like walt says. You have thoughts to contribute - or else you risk becoming a worse poster than Jose is on defense

This thread is about Larkin. I don't know how some of you see a criticism of Jose. He was a serviceable kid who could have played better in his second season in this system.

No...it is not.

How is it not????

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

He wanted no part of the triangle

Couldn’t grow in an offense I wasn’t comfortable in,” Larkin tweeted. “All good. No shade. Glad I’m across the river now. Wish them luck.”

The Knicks never appeared to be invested in Larkin. After acquiring him from Dallas as part of the Tyson Chandler trade last summer, they surprisingly turned down his third-year player option before the season began.

Larkin, who excelled in the pick-and-roll during his collegiate career with Miami, wasn’t a good fit in the triangle. At 6-feet, he also isn’t the bigger point guard Jackson has traditionally favored.

Despite the awkward fit, Larkin wound up playing the most minutes of any player on the Knicks roster last season (1,865), finishing with averages of 6.2 points and 3.0 assists per game.

That's how most pg's feel about this offense

The Knicks declined Larkin's option and didn't want him back. Maybe it didn't suit him but his words are from after he was rejected by the Knicks.

Are you so oblivious to what others here are suggesting to you in this very thread (and many others)? Please read them over and tell me if you still don't understand.

I still would take our future combo-guard rookie Grant over Larkins and THJ .. All day everyday!

Dude, I have not once disrespected anyone Around here; you have no need what so ever to jump on me for making a thread that has to do with a former knicks. He was one of the players I liked and hoped would succeed, but management decided that he was not worthy on an investment. The motive of this thread was or is to simply say that I believe Larkin would succeed with the roster as currently constituted. We are all crying about how slow the back court is, and the other missing intangibles. I believe had we kept the young man, perhaps the outcome would have been different. Simple

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Man, I'm done trying to explain, you don't seem to want to even try. Have you read the feedback a lot of others are trying to suggest to you? You are being robotic to a point where others are complaining, and thus you are indeed the one who is bringing disrespect to your fellow posters.

He would probably have a few good games with Derrick Williams

Knicks1969 day starts with this image in his head. Add screeching psycho violin music and you can just imagine.
Then pretend your "Rainman" and start taping on the keyboard. Now your living large.

Soon enough I will not have a need to think about this dude; just like your other dude, he will be a thing of the past:::)))

Sad to say, but Larkins would look great with the current roster
