Oh brother so now we have to wait till March 1st for teams to buyout these players? That ****ing sucks.

I bet Phil waits for Kevin Martin before he does anything. That blows. I feel like we don't have time to play around with of we want to make the playoffs

I'm not so sure it's gonna hurt the Knicks that much. There are gonna be more than enough very winnable games over the rest of the month. I think this team can get thru with what they've got if they can refocus on D and make the needed changes to the O in order to get going again. IMO the league didn't get tougher but rather our players fell off, got injured and lost the chemistry they had when they were playing well. IMO they could tighten up their games and win these winnable games on the schedule. Gotta hope Rambis can help get this team back on track.

Not sure why to set yourself for usual "nixluva" disappointment hangover.
There is no need and no way to make the playoffs for the Knicks.
Getting to playoffs is a mantra and motivation for players and coaching stuff to work towards the goal.
That's about it.
Players and team development are way more important.

I don't understand your point. I'm a FAN of the Knicks! Of course I want them to try to win and make the playoffs. 1st off they aren't completely out of the playoff race yet. It's not good where they are but it's not impossible either. As long as there's a chance then they should proceed like they can make it. I happen to think there is a slim chance they can do it. Also going for it really isn't going to stop the team from developing our players. Winning is its own type of development program and if this team can put up a winning record over the remaining 27 games that's a good thing. Lastly this team playing better will help with Free Agency. If they go on a strong run but fail to make the playoffs that will be better than shutting it down just to play kids more minutes.
