This is s bit off topic, but when is the last time a truly great PG from NY repped? NC has John Wall, Curry and Paul. Who does NY have? Kemba Walker?

I'm also guessing that this is only counting players who qualified based on minutes played and some bench PGs would jump up if they had more minutes.

Top 30 means he is a starting caliber PG. If you want to haggle over what "legit" means feel free....and no the real plus minus had no minutes restriction on it.

26th out of 84.

So, 60+ or so PGs in the NBA suck according to ChuckBuck.

OK - I didn't see that it was out of 84. You could call him a low tier starter based on this stat (and based on most stats). I wouldn't say he sucks.

which part? When he fouled a 5'10 player taking jump shots 3 times?? When he cant run an NBA offense? When he's missing every shot he takes? Tell me the parts you liked. It might shed some light on where you are coming from.

Show some patience with the young did and it will pay dividends

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

LG did have positive +/- in that game.

It is almost like the second unit(other than the guy no one wants to)is scared to take the initiative. That is coach's fault.

ChuckBuck wrote:Just a dumb thread overall. Of course Langston Galloway sucks at PG, he's a shooting guard or combo guard trapped in a 6 foot 2 body.

He's Joe Dumars type, Bobby Jackson type. Didn't ever play the point guard at any level, college, high school etc.

You slide him over at the 2, you'll see different results in 35 minutes...

Start Calderon & Galloway in the backcourt to stop the bleeding for now. Effectively immediately after Jose returns. Then get a quality starting PG here in the offseason. Don't **** it up Phil!!!

lol biggest myth around. You have to go back to Mark Jackson unless you want to go with Coney Island's Finest and most self-absorbed Stephon TowelMeBury

There are not 84 starting point guards, so really it's 26th out of 30 teams.

Which is just plain suck. Just because you have a "starting caliber" point guard, doesn't mean to settle for it.

34 years old and closer to on his way out the league, than staying. Let's get a real point guard we can root for.

Actually, 7 of the players ahead of Calderon have come off the bench for most of their games this season. So that means 18 of the ones ahead of him are starters. 18 teams in the league have starters that are ahead and 11 have starters that are behind Calderon on this stat.
