I can agree that his play has been as inconsistent as his minutes, but other then that, I am not sure what you are talking about. Just from a stat perspective, his asst numbers are good but he does turn the ball over and his shooting % is worse then bad. I had to check his stats because I don't know what DNP you are talking about. I had to go back to 12/27/15 to find one. Are you talking about the Charlotte game where he shot 0-6 in 9 min and Fisher pulled him. As far as shooting %, it looks like either feast or famine, but mostly famine. When he starts trying to score and failing he gets the pulled. Probably hard to build a rhythm being on a short leash but maybe if he had some confidence he would get more run?
Honestly, after looking into Mike Brey's motion offense and Grant's role at ND, I can see why he is a square peg in a round hole here. Grant would be killing it in Miami's offense....maybe they'll swap Grant for Winslow
