It must be a kick in the teeth for JImmer to have all that talent and he cannot find his place in the NBA given his skill set is not dominant. Perhaps he is working with our coaches and with the Master himself on finding his place and we'll see his talent come thru in the future, like next season.
I think they laid it out for Jimmer. They probably even promised him a modest 1-2 year deal if he plays enough games in the dleague. Its a very poor FA crop for PGs Conley aside, and with Jose's contract with one year remaining there is opportunity for Jimmer.
I mean look at Melo this year... old dogs can learn new tricks if motivated to do so. In Jimmer's case the motivation is first to get back to the NBA, second in a fashion that has some longevity and third to play for his hometown Knicks.
Jimmer has some potential. Long odds, but I think its a good talent worth looking at.
