Sasha, AA, LT and Thanasis can both play the Guard position
Grant and Gallo can play the PG or SG position

It's either a trade potential chip or more bodies to replace Melo and Calderon.....And limit Fisher's overuse of LT. Did I read somewhere that LT has played over 40mins in his two games after sitting out injured? Looks like add depth to help prevent that from happening again, until Melo comes back. The same seat Early was warming up!

Or it could be that Lance's knee is still bothering him and Melo is out and they are short at the forward position with Early also out.

It was a surprise considering the Knicks had been evaluating sharpshooting guard Jimmer Fredette, a Westchester teammate, but did not deem his defense up to snuff. Antetokounmpo is well versed in the triangle offense from his time with the Knicks’ D-League affiliate, as opposed to former 76ers guard Tony Wroten, who was considered another 10-day candidate.

Think of Jimmer as the Jose of WestChester.

It is weird that they are worried with Jimmers D as a 3rd stringer but they are totally fine with Jose's D as a starter.

Maybe they're challenging him to improve it first, because they think he can get better.

Kinda like how they didn't just hand DWill playing time, but made him improve his D and rebounding to get more time.
