He should have been sent a long time ago. Not even sure what he can learn on this particular team that he couldn't in the d-league. They run the triangle there as well, so he'd get that training, but most importantly, he could get worry free minutes.

Grant knows he's struggling here, and the best way to adjust is to get your confidence back. The d-league can help him for sure.

I'm not sold on Gramt. He dribbles way too much and frankly I'm concerned as much with his 2 point jump shot as much as his 3 point jumper. In this league you gotta shoot.

My vote is he ahould be in the D league. We will soon be starting a How many months befroe Grant is released thread" Followed by a "Where is Grant today?" thread. But if he just changes his shot, ability to drive left, uncontrolled play, confidence and overall vision...he can be top two PG's in the league.

Jerian Grant should go the weight room and build up his lower body. Grant can get to rim in a hurry, when he doesn't hesitate. Problem is that unless he has a clear path to the rim, Grant has trouble elevating. Once Grant hits the spot where he pushes off one leg to elevate, he floats more than anything else. No explosiveness when he goes for a layup.

This has been an issue going back to SL. In the offseason, I hope the Knicks, and Grant work on a conditioning program so he can be more explosive when taking it to the rim. That should help Grant be more decisive.
