IMO these are teams we have already played, the game plan should be clearer, and adjustments should be in store. Hawks, bulls, miami are not playing lights out, and don't scare anyone.

After a solid win against detroit, we have got to learn and build on that, thats development in my eyes. Not this 2 steps fwd, 2 step backs crap.

Fisher said he's going to shy away from the triangle going forward..lets see

When did Fish say he was moving away from the Triangle? I don't recall him saying that. The Triangle is the BASE SYSTEM and you can add to it, so there's no reason to "shy away" from your system. Just focus on what works best for your group.

Regarding the schedule they have to learn from what went right in the last game and try to keep that level of execution on both ends. Every team is different and that's what makes it tough from night to night. I just want to see a consistent performance from game to game in terms of what they are supposed to be doing. If the Knicks can execute and stay aggressive on offense they'll be competitive every night.

Which would be having slim to nothing to do with the triangle. It is evident that running mostly PNR and some specific sets of the triangle(for DWill).

He said it after the last game, he didnt say those exact words, but a reporter asked if the triangle system was something they're going to continue to run it, and he responded by saying the triangle will be the last resort(in so many words)

They didnt run any of the triangle in the 4th qtr against detroit.

OK you guys really don't have a CLUE as to what the Triangle is. Once again. The Triangle Offense or the Triple Post Offense, which is it's true name, is a complete system and the Side Triangle is only one aspect of it. There are many other sets in the system that have nothing to do with the Side Triangle!!! I can't seem to make it get thru to everyone that if you don't know what to look for you can assume that they aren't running the system when IN FACT THEY ARE!!!

The Knicks only run one system!!! The Triangle is actually a Full Court offense and not just a Half Court offense. Most of you would not even recognize plays such as the Blind Pig, which is not the Side Triangle!!! So if they run it then you think they are not running the System when in fact they are. Also at any time players can improvise but the Principles are still there. There is a principal in the offense where the players learn to fill certain spaces on the floor and make cuts and when they do this it's still in the offense even tho they aren't using the side Triangle.

Pick and Roll is JUST A PLAY!!! It's not a system.

Agree Nixluva - no idea what these guys are looking at or talking about. How can someone watch this team all the time and not know we are running the triangle the majority of the time. I get the sense most guys don't eve ulster stand the basic flow of the system.

Yeah I know. It's been frustrating to say the least. What team would spend MONTHS working on a SYSTEM and commit to it in their D League team as well and then not use that system? Phil is committed to the Triangle in every way.

we maybe on our way to being a good team

I just hope people don't throw hissy fits if we lose to the Heat on the second night of a B2B and then lose in San Antonio. It'd be great to win one of those two, but it won't be easy.

The Knicks schedule is brutal but they showed real toughness and determination! I hope they can win the Heat game! 1. I HATE the Heat 2. I don't see them beating the Spurs. They'll likely run out of gas by then.

Of the two games, I have to +1 you on the Heat. I too HATE them. The Spurs are beatable. Let's go for the road games sweep!

The Spurs have not lost all season at home. They're 20-0 at home.

There's some that are just sitting and waiting for us to play bad and lose cause they haven't been able to get their hater fill in for the last couple of games so they just can't wait for us to have a bad game. You know who you are. Yes it would be absolutely fantastic if we could pull a win out against either one of Miami or San Antonio. If we could beat one or both or really even make them good games it would be a huge help to their confidence.

"Unfortunately," the Knicks are playing in a way that now makes it impossible for an opponent to see us as a guaranteed W on their schedule.

Pops will not let his guys looks past us like they did last year.

Will be a big game for Anthony and his development as a complete player.

Yup. No doubt Pops will make sure TD and Aldridge box KP out everytime a shot goes up, so they'll be no posterization.

Melo has to continue to trust his teammates the way he has the last few games. If he resorts back to ISO ball, Kawhi will put him in a glass case of emotion like the first game.
