I'm really loving what i've been seeing from Melo and he's not even back to playing his best ball yet. You absolutely have to give him credit for really trying to play the right way in this offense especially coming from a guy that has played a certain way his whole time in the NBA. Even the Melo haters have to give him credit for how he's been playing.

Yeah Melo looks VERY comfortable in the Triangle now. When his teammates step up you can see how good they can be as a team. Last night was a very good sign for this team in terms of what they can achieve when they all execute the offense as intended. The hard cuts and timely passes was good to see. They weren't playing tentative but were aggressively running the offense.

ehhh if you don't watch the games you would not know that the caveat to these numbers is that he more often than not has not been able to sustain team-oriented play beyond minute 40 of most games. he has been playing great but he still needs to put together a sustained and complete game every game, without any poor decisions down the stretch.

That's ridiculous. Melo is still our top guy and he still will have to take over games sometimes and will also still be some times that he'll have to play some ISO when games are getting out of control but Melo has absolutely changed his game for the betterment of team basketball and for the triangle and deserves a ton of credit even from the haters like you.

That wasn't my intention. He posts some pretty obscure stuff. One of my favorite follows on twitter.

Last nights game was impressive to watch cause it seemed like the offense was running so smooth and the passing was great and D.Williams was aggressive at getting to the basket and lets give some credit to Rolo who has been looking like he's getting much more comfortable in the offense the last 3/4 games. If he can keep up his aggressive play under the basket and keep that hook shot going then maybe we shouldn't trade him and find another way to trade for a new point guard. Calderon also looked good and it's too bad he can't play like that every game. Very much impressed with last nights game all around. The defense was also very impressive. D.Williams made some really good plays on defense which isn't his thing and Melo also played good on defense.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Bad news for the Melo haters

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

He's the single most consistent player on the team. He's getting better because he's getting back into game shape after an injury that kept him away from basketball for six months from February to August.

Something the haters couldn't see.
