Good philanthropist, good teammate... I mean Ive rooted for some real tools over the years but Melo is pretty chill and yet remains an incredibly polarizing figure.

That aside its a great fit on the court. They will make each other better players, in fact they no doubt are. KP can learn a lot of tricks from Melo. Its a good start to a good pairing

its really funny how you used to argue with the same one sided vigor for the other extreme team. Couldn't you have just gone to the middle?

Nobody cares who Melo is friends with and who he is dating and if he is hugging KP. If he plays team ball then he will be loved, if he doesn't then he will be loved by only his groupees.

Oh.. Im totally in the middle. But when dealing with Jihad you need to counter with in kind. I am in the middle. crzy is in the middle. Nixluva... well the name says it all.

I find the whole thing entertaining at this point and am honestly fascinated by it. Folks get really into disliking certain players. I followed it with Eli. However he won a title, and another, so haters can hate (and man they still do) but SB MVPs speak for themselves. Still to this day I know so many fans just see Eli for what he isnt and not what he is.

boy was eli fantastic last night ... just wish they designed each game with the same west coast offense. Eli has his own issues like the aw shucks plays but dude brings it every night and plays his azz off as best as he could. Not really a good comp.

With Melo many of us feel that he is capable of much more while some like the righty's believe that this is who he is and we just have to be happy about it. NOT ME! I know that he will need to do much more going forward and he will need to modify his game just like many stars have done to win before him.

Its not even big changes, it would be so easy for him if he just bought in. You maybe happy but let me araton for phil and say that he is not happy settling for this melo.

Melo is past his athletic prime with mileage and some injuries so yes -he will have to modify sooner than later but a significant modification can only occur to large benefit when a better cast is at hand . KP is a good start and Affalo helps in the short run but the rest are simply supporting actors of modest talent .Phil has some more work to do. As the org likes to say, its a process

I prefer the histrionics of Berman and then speculating on things Melo said taken out of context. I don't even bother to watch the interview. Who cares what the guy really says(like in this article) if the title of Berman's article feeds my anti-Melo passion.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Yeah, one of the things that I really like about Melo this season is how he is literally the only one(maybe Grant aswell) who can get Porzingis the ball. It is crazy watching KP wide open for a 3pt shot and Caledron passes it elsewhere.
The Future is Bright!
