Right now Melo, AA, and Rolo just are not bringing the required intensity to make this team competative. When Calderon is showing more fire you got issues. Sasha, lou, and thomas are the only 3 guys that give that 100% effort and posess a high activity level regardless. We need guys like that, but ones that also have a high skill level.
I agree.....
I think Fisher's decision on the starting 5 was not based on energy.....
Then we sat Sasha, Lou, KOQ.....who are the energy guys. His development on Grant has been terrible....he's another energy guy.
So without Fisher even knowing it, he created a starting unit of low energy guys......Then he reduced the minutes of high energy guys off the bench.
And the only time he plays high energy guys, is when we are down trying to make a come back.
On top of all that.....The roster is lacking high energy guys, with solid basketball skills. Most good teams have high energy players with starter type skill sets. Our energy guys do not have top notch skills.....Which is why Fisher's hands are tied up. He's stuck between playing skilled guys.....vs.....energy guys.
Moving forward, Phil needs to add energy skilled players.....There are plenty of these guys in the NBA right now, not getting any burn. There will be some in free agency next season.
QUESTION:
Did I just break the record with the number of times I used the word energy in a single post?
I wonder if our coach had more "energy" on the sideline , he would see better effort?
