Or David Lee or Nene as a 3rd big as either of them can shoot the mid range and pass pretty well. They would pick up the tri pretty easy. Sullinger is an intriguing player as well as he has plenty off different skills. He might be had at a good price and Boston might not be in love with him. Jeff Green is an option to play in the Thomas/Williams role. He would enhance the small ball. OJ mayo could be a sleeper for the Tri.

I think a combination of Mayo, Green, Nene could be had boosting the deoth and quality of role player.

Noah is The only player out Of that bunch I would touch. We need to find a pure backup for Afflalo; a true 6'6"+ slashing guard that can defend and shoot the rock. We further need to find a PG, because what we have is not sufficient. Calderon has played well in spurts, there are times when he doesn't exist at all. We already have Grant, so another PG WILL SUFFICE

Its not nessesarily about the players named. But more so how we should look for a bunch of high IQ vets who may be cost effective to really turn this into a well oiled machine. Just like we did with Affalo this offseason.

Sullinger is gonna get paid big time. He has turned into a very good player.

He was even better last season. Then got hurt and ripped by Stevens for his conditioning and put in the dog house.

his lack of passing is a bit alarming.

Does he defend and score? If so, I am not alarmed at all

he defends but no steals at all (I can live with that).

You really can't be part of a big 3 if you are a starting guard and avg 1.8 assists a game and 1.7 FTA's unless perhaps you shoot like steph curry.

The more the big three plays together the better the numbers will look. If we could only get some constant contribution from Calderon and Lopez, the lineup would be able to put fear in the mind of the rest of the league. Lopez is at least defending and rebounding. We need Calderon to shoot the ball more to offset the points he gives up on defense

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

When those three are clicking on the floor at the same time, the Knicks are very potent. It forces teams to pick their poison. Those three feeds off of each other at both ends of the court, and it is a beautiful thing to watch.

Our second unit too appears to have the formation of a medium 3. Grant, Galloway, and Williams have excellent ESP amongst themselves, and should be nurtured. Our coaching staff need to recognize that, and continue to develop this trio; because their success can help carry this team very far this season and for years to come. Lance has already proven to be a very good contributor; thus, we now have to find who amongst KO and Seraphin can be the consistent productive player to help put the final touch to that rotation.

Side note: I have been very hard on Fisher since last year; but I must say that he did a decent job with the rotation last night. He ensured that one of the starters was always on the floor; thAt is progress.

Don't leave Seraphin out cause he's been playing really well. I've always been a big Gallo fan but he's been horrible especially with his shooting so i really hope he can find his confidence in his shot soon.
