At least Grant is starting to come on strong and can play the 2 if Galloway keeps slumping. Hope he can pull it together, it was a great run for a while.

It was a great run for a while?? He was good for like 5 games and then he fell off badly and still is. He's obviously lost all confidence in his shot and the only thing that will bring his confidence back is having 2/3 good shooting games in a row.

Galloway had been playing well since preseason, briefly led the league in 3pt shooting over Curry, so yes I would say he was having a great run for a while.

Yeah but if you can't hit 2 point shots (which has been the case his NBA career) and don't get to the line much, how are you going to be consistent?

YOu better shoot 42%+ from 3 to start. Also you need to make a concerted effort to find a 2 point game. Hes pulling the string on his J that is for sure.

42% from 3? That is elite elite. 35% is avg and acceptable.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

mid range? He needs to stay away from mid range and score at the basket and behind the arc.

His career average is 37%. If LG can't hit 2s and won't get many assists, he's going to have to compensate somehow.

right, I mean what is the harm?

Hey, why not bench Gallo and kill his self confidence and so when he gets another chance he is looking over his shoulder waiting to get pulled?
Basically when a guy is not playing well after he has you don't ruin your chemistry and trust factors by just "Trying Shyt". If you screw guys they won't trust you.
If your building a culture that promotes players improving you don't just bring in guys on a whim and see how they do after 18 games.

Good players find their way out of slumps. If he can't, that's a different story but we talking a few games right? I don't know what our plans if any are for Jimmer but calling him up and putting him in front of other guys after 18 games is how you lose your locker room.

Yes i think i also said he was playing well but it only lasted for like 5 games maybe 6. I couldn't care any less about what he did in the preseason. We need the player he was in the first 5/6 games badly. We miss his 3 point shooting. Even if he was playing well for more than 5/6 games my point is he hasn't been playing well for a while now and again we need his 3 point shooting.

When you are shooting better than Steph Curry from three through the first couple of weeks of the season you are having a great run. Count the games or dont, Galloway had been playing well for more than a month, then he dropped off the face of the earth.

Hahahaha Curry was probably shooting an avg of like 7 a game and Gallo probably an avg of like 2 a game so i would have to think that Gallo would definitely have a better avg from 3 since Curry was shooting 3 times as many a game than Gallo. hahahaha

Not one, but two hahahahas, what are you 12? Galloway was taking 4-5 shots a game during that stretch and the varying number of shots Curry took during that stretch from game to game had no bearing on his avg. His numbers were all over the place.

I never said bench Gallo , but if you shoot 1 for fricken 41 --- YOU BETTER LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER

Would you rather have Jimmer or Sasha at this point? Sasha comes up with a injury that keeps him out for 2 weeks and we see what Jimmer can do. What is the harm in that ?

I'm sure i'm much older than you and have much more basketball knowledge than you but for you to compare Gallo and S.Curry's 3 point shooting numbers deserves much more than 2 Hahahahaha's, it actually deserves 3 Hahahahahaha"s sooooooooooo Hahahahahahaha Hahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahah..........actually it was really funny so lets go with one more Hahahahahaha.

Gallo needs to play without the ball, get open for the three and just shoot it. No dribbling or two pointers. His D is incredible!
