Can we learn anything from San Antonio? They look pretty good with their slow offense, long 2s and they dont have one of the two best players in the league

San Antonio has 2 stars who can't shoot the 3 and that shoot at an abnormal level (like wade) from the mid range. Hard to build to this mold.

equally hard to build to a mold that is built around Lebron or Curry, not only the two best players in the league but perhaps two of the most unique to ever play the game. I mean Lebron is Magic on roids and Curry is the best shooter to ever play the game.

yes. About 10% more. Mostly because Duncan and Parker can't shoot the 3.

Good find. Their offense is OK (nowhere near GSW) but they're mostly winning because their defense is top of the league.

and when you control the boards and slow the pace 33% from three sure as hell does NOT equal 50% from two

Interesting. SAS is also 19th in the league in points per game, though their offensive rating is slightly above the league average. Teams would be better off trying to emulate GSW's shot selection than SAS's.
