I wish we would stop projecting how great he is /will be because it is almost a bad omen that could jinx whether it be a slower progression that we expect or an injury that derails. Id rather just acknowledge that Jax/we got lucky and enjoy the passage

Here here…(except on the jinx/bad omen stuff, which I don't believe in)

He's his best case scenario right now. And not just good, but FUN to watch too.

Why do you have to turn to the last chapter to see if he gets his number retired?

As you say, enjoy the journey, that's the fun stuff.
